local colorado deer, amazing!! Deer in Colorado Springs Colo. This big boy

wanders the downtown streets. He probably won’t get shot, but will be hit
by a car. There are two separate base antlers on each side, plus big drop
on the right side.

I'm pretty sure that is a drop tine...but I agree, theres gotta be something going on in that area, what a freak!!

Underneath the dropper there is a massive lump. If someone does manage to tag him, I hope they get him mounted with that cyst for realism. He might even be one of those does with antlers to have a rack that messed up.

He's amazing to look at. But, I can't help feeling sorry for the poor guy. Caring that antler mass and an aggressive cyst probably makes for a tough go.

Zoom it in about 300% and you will see it is a huge velvet covered drop tine and not a cyst, it attaches to the antler just behind and above his right eye!
