My girl passed her Junior Hunter!!

My 12 month old Yellow Lab made the first leg of her Junior Hunter Title today in Bridal Falls. The event was put on by the BC Lab Retriever Club and was very well done. This was my first time running a dog in a Hunt Test and after my nerves settled, I had a great time....as did my little girl. If anyone is at all interested in running dogs in hunting style competitions, you should definately get involved with this great group of people. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the dogs compete against a set guideline to pass or fail so there is no serious competition between handlers.

Good stuff! I run UKC hunt Tests with my 2 yr old black lab female. We just finished her Seasoned title which is comparable to senior in CKC. Wher did you get your dog? She looks great.

I'm jealous, I wish I had the time to spend with and train a dog to share what we would both enjoy. Beautiful dog you have and I know the two of you are having fun.
