Have seem geese flying every morning now for a couple of weeks here in the Cowichan Valley. I think they are mostly residents as yet, no increase in flock size. He who chops his corn first will have them..........We are a long way off of that as it took so long to get it planted this year. Mightn't have much for the geese either with the darn elk hammerin' it.

Rumour has it there was a 'casting' call for all Canada Geese......... for the hunting show, Canada in the Rough goose shoot in Vanderhoof this fall.

All right guys--some neat answers---We found them feeding in Surrey and Delta in the oats fields--saturday will be a big day--hoping to have one on the barbeque that night--good luck if you go out and be careful!!
