Good idea for a thread. This is Ashes, By far one of the best dogs I have ever owned. She was a australian shepard/blue heeler mix. I still think about her all the time.

    RIP Girl,

My old pal, Kody. RIP buddy...

This our old hound Max... one eye... run over by a car... lived to a ripe old age of 19... he was born the same year as my little brother....1985.... every year we thought it would be his last hunting season.....the last year in camp he found his last elk... 2 weeks later he passed away....

I have to agree with you ,there is something special to dog ownership that some folks just don't understand. Ginger was a true one of a kind , I have a new pup now and she is great but I still miss the old girl.

    Munuqsii ("Camp Watcher")
Blond haired blue eyed Wolf Hybrid.
One of the Best buddies I was fortunate enough to have loved.
Had a 16 year run, and loved every minute of it.
Even with the new pups, I miss him a lot.
    Gone perhaps, NEVER Forgotten...
