    Limbsaver questions

I just bought a limbsaver for my new browning abolt, does anybody know how to install it, it came with two holes for screws, but the existing area has no screw holes, do I go over top? or do I chip off the solid rubber piece that is there?

    any help would be great

    Thanks
    Dwayne

Dwayne. If you take a phillips screw driver and gently push it into the recoil pad in the area your new pad has holes you should find the screws. The slits are near surgical and not easy to see. Blaine just last week had the same issue on 300wm a-bolt. His had slotted screws so you may have them too.

If your not saving the OEM pad, you can cut it away with a box knife till you see the screws??

There is 2 holes on your gun. Point the barrel on to the floor and with the butt pad facing you grab with your hands each side and stretch apart the pad. 2 slits will show up where the screws are. I thought the same thing on my a bolt.
