    thats what I want to build Rod ... Just havent gotten around to making up the peices ... .. I have the Acme rod and nuts ... just nothing else ...

    now that you know how to do it .. You can build me one once I bring down the Acme thread huh ...

    No problem buddy. The packs are going to be much heavier on the way down too. Hopefully we get old dying decrepid billies with wasting away bodies and huge horns. I think Thin Air has a big pack to help me out this year too. Cant wait!

    well-i know nothing about compounds, so i'll ask-whats the bow press for? if you need to change the string or somethin'?

    Changing strings, adding string accessories, peeps, leeches, anything you have to split the string for. Rotating strings to train peep sights. Work on cams and cam axles and bearings.
    Makes life much easier if you don't have to head to a shop every time something needs doing. I like to do everything myself, so that means having the tools.
    Many of the newer bows have very specific requirements for pressing or the warranty is void.

    Nice press, a definate must have for the parrallel limb bows now adays.
    I built one last year, and I also built my own "hooter shooter"
    I'm not that good with the computer so don't know how to post pics.
