    backup for bow hunting

With all the grizz around are you bowhunters packing a defender or pepper spray. We now have grizz in the corn fields my partner saw two year before last in a cornfield we hunt. And i lost a blackbear i shot to one last oct. God i would hate to start packing my 45-70 so i will try pepper spray.

I pack a 12 guage with a mixture of SSG and Slugs (3") and pepper spray. This is when ever I go into the woods whether working, shed hunting, bow hunting or guiding. Not paranoid, just have a healthy respect for bears and have had my share of bear incidents.
