I want a Browning BL22 for chickens. Such a sweet gun. I love levers. I shot one in nanaimo at the '05 Convention. Holds 15 LR shells and is dead accurate.

Man, with the 22LR's being so small Im pretty sure you would have alot of jams.Originally Posted by PGKris

I just worked a deal on this site for a .17, had it at the range today, five shot group covered by a dime at 25 yrds. covered by a quarter at a hundred, I though wow I'm good. Gave it to the wife, she covered both groups with a dime. That thing sure shoots. Look forward to takin heads off grouse in the fall.
I usually use my 12ga
I'm hoping to pick up .17 soon
Seems like a very interesting calibre
How have people found the .17 for fouling. I thought that would be a problem sith such a small cal. I think thats why the hornet never became popular, no?

Has anyone here tried a .204 Ruger for Grouse? The Ballistics for this little round are impressive, seems like it'd be a good Grouse/small varmint gun.
I'm not sure what you mean?? I shot over 100 rounds with it in Nanaimo and did not have a single jam. In fact I've never even heard of a lever action "jamming"Originally Posted by lcpaintballer
