    Where are the chukars?

    Hey folks,
I was wandering who's into hunting chukars around here... I used to hunt these birds some 20 years ago!
I'm thinking about getting back into it...
    Cheers

I've shot them around Cache Creek (a few miles out of town towards Kamaloops) and at Walachen (sp). That was 25 years ago. There were some around Spences Bridge too as I remember getting gas and a guy shooting right up the hill behind the gas station.
Fun to shoot but watch out for rattlesnakes because the dogs don't know anything about them. Shot one right in front of the dog while he was checking the snake out.
