    Hunting circa 20's 30's

Great old film footage from the 1920's and 30's.
It's 40 minutes. So grab a beverage. Hunting by boat, horse, car, foot. Some fishing in there as well. Some of the kill shots are definately re-enactments.
Tiny little bit of gore, dressing a deer. Nothing dramatic.

Cool looking back at a different era. Recognized some of the music from my father's time (40's).

That's gotta be fake. No cammo, no scent-loc, no gore-tex, no .498 eargeschplittenloudenboomer magnum, no 400hp push-button 4wd. You can't kill deer without that stuff!

That was awesome! Thanks for sharing that blast from the past!

The river drifting made me a little nostalgic for my drift boat.
Noticed the use of mules for packing and riding over horses.
Definitely the golden era of hunting and fishing.
    Oh yah, loved those Fords!

    M.Potzold X2!
Notice the Whelan tent in the scene with the women cooking. Notice fish limits were not a big deal if the whole camp was sharing the food.
At the beginning they fried bacon and then cooked the eggs in the bacon fat---a treat to some, it still makes me gag.
Looked like a lot of left over WW 1 firearms, and the ubiquitous lever actions, of course. Camo? We don't need no stinkin' camo! LOL
Very enjoyable. As kids we cut the brim off old hats and made bush hats --they were good quality, and waterproof too! Noticed a few in the films.
    Thanks for sharing.

Loved it. Thanks for sharing. I would have fit right in as my wife says I was born in the wrong century.
