I am thinking about loading hevi-shot for geese and #3's for ducks for the 16ga and throwing the wad wizard back in.

Hevi-shot it about $4-$5 per shot if you buy it from the store. There is a store in Texas that ships 50lbs of #1 hevi-shot(pellets) for about $120usd including shipping to Canada. I think that if I do it I will get 100lbs and just load them for the Geese.

and if you are not decoying the birds in close and have not been in water fowling for a bunch of years then I would probably jump up to a BB. Just my personal opinion.

I kill almost all of my Canadas with # 3 , winchester HV , in the 1550 fps , 3 inch magnum and 1 1/8 oz.

Have shot lots of geese with 2's but I've also seen lots flying away with shot in them. I would definately go with bb's. Even if you get them in close there will be less holes in them with the bigger shot.
