    I bet you I could have done it by myself in an hour, with the kids it was longer of course. If you bring snow shoes you can summit some of the ridges peaks and get some amazing views. I got the idea from here: http://www.clubtread.com/sforum/topi...TOPIC_ID=34409 I also followed their snow shoe tracks. I don't know what he means about 3 hours up? He must have hiked what I drove.

    I didn't see or know there was one up there?

    Its at the very top of Mt. Mercer, from your pics it looks like you must have been getting up near the top.
    I saw some people tracks walking near the top yesterday...

    Just got back and man am I glad I did that! Got some good pics, probably similar to yours. Took about an hour and fifteen to get up there by myself. Not only was it a great hike with awesome scenery but the 4wd road up there was enjoyable to boot! Thanks again for the idea.

    That looks like a great hike, I have been searching on google maps for the road but having trouble finding it. Can someone pm me with the coordinates, I want to go for a hike up there one of these days.
