The Way I Am
We figured we'd take advantage of the good weather and get up into some good views. We drove up mount thurston fsr till we hit snow and then hiked till we summitted the pass. The snow was compact till near the top where snow shoes would have been helpful and the short legged ones had a rough time.
The scenery was awesome, although the far off mountains were still hazy and you could only just make out the silhouette of vancouver island.
