I opted for the shorter barrel.
400gr. Bear Stoppers are fairly managable...

Too bad your not allowed to take to the gravel pit and let'er rip
Now that pistol would make a mess of a new 2 dollar shirt!!!
RD;
What did ya think of it?
When I 1st saw one in action, I was at my local club. The feller that had one, literally was shooting it for his first time and was hitting 12-16" groups at 200 meters (factory set-up. long version w/ factory loads). He was GOOD!
Me,,,,, I can consistantly hit a mellons @ 50 (~10" groups)....

I found it quite impressive, but I would not consider it to be an everyday shooter. Accuracy was good, and would get better with a little practice. We never tried any "hot" loads through it. A factory load through that cannon felt very similar to a hot load through my 44mag Anaconda. The only thing about it that I didn't care for was the highly pollished grip, particularily at the rear of the grip which caused the gun to slip just a bit when fired. The attention to detail, and "smoothness" of the action was VERY impressive. Overall, I think it was a very fine piece of engineering, and I would not be suprised to see one in my colection some day
