I am one of those guys also thats been a member for a while thats finally going to make it official with an initiation joke. This site is incredible and it can sure take up a lot of your time! Its hard to find a joke thats worthy but I came across this one recently, so here it is:
An 86-year-old man went to the doctor for his regular check up. The doc asks him how he is feeling. The old man says, 'Things are great & have never felt better.' I now have a 20 year old bride who is pregnant with my child. "So what do you think about that doc?" The doctor considered the question for a minute and then told a story.
I have an old friend much like you who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day he was setting off to go hunting. In a bit of a hurry, he picked up his cane instead of his gun. As he neared a lake, he came across a very large beaver sitting @ the waters edge. He realized he left his gun at home so he could'nt shoot the magnificent creature. Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed at the animal and said 'BANG, BANG.' Miraculously two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead.
Now, what do you think of that? asked the doctor. The old man said, "logic would suggest that somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver."
the doctor replied, "My point exactly."
Fusion, your right when you say that some of the jokes are only funny in the eye of the beholder, but, I had a nice chuckle with yours. Always good to have another official member, and you are so right, this site can take up a lot of your time. There's worse things you could be doing I suppose.
