I have a buddy working pipe line up in that area and he tells me he sees quite a few white moose around there.

It's a Great Spirit Moose, just like the Spirit Bear. Next step will be to create a huge protected area and shut down all hunting there.
Growing old is unavoidable. Growing up is highly overrated....

While working in FSJ at the airport a few years back, I saw a similar sight, a white cow moose with a brown calf, pretty cool to say the least. Doubt I would have seen her at all if it weren't for the calf, snow everywhere. Ahh sunny Fort Saint John, Land of diesel trucks and block heaters-and now great Spirit Moose as well
