I'm thinking of buying a .35 Rem for a backup gun to take on deer trips. Something that you can throw in the truck just in case something happens to your main rifle.
Anyone own one, hunt with one..........comments, good and bad....

in an open sighted lever gun, it should do good work on deer and normal sized black bears, out to 150 yards
"If you ever go into the bush, there are grizzly bears lurking behind just about every bush, waiting to pounce, so you need a powerful gun, with huge bullets" - Gatehouse ~ 2004
35 remington hits like a ton of bricks. Good for moose in the brush. Don't have one anymore. No complaints about the caliber. They shoot well and you usually don't have to chase what you hit.
