LOL I might be crazy BUT!!!!! Me isn't that CRAZY LMAO! I'll Use My 7MM MAG for that ..... bow and arrow for grizzly hmmmmmm not a good idea since I have seen what a gizzly does after it's been shot, a arrow thats crazy stuff but I have seen it on Hunting tapes.... just not for me I'll Use A rifle for them bears...

Well call me crazy then, cause if I get drawn I will be trying with my bow. I figure I only need one grizz in my lifetime so its gonna be with a bow. Of course my buddy with the 375 H&H will be along and possibly another back-up gun and i will also have a defender. Hopefully we can get the hunt on tape. i shoot a 73# Bowtech Extreme VFT shooting a 340 grain carbon force 400 topped with a 100 grain montec for a total weight of 440 grains. This bow gets this arrow motoring along at 297 FPS for 86.2 ft/lbs of kinetic energy. With that montec sharpened enough to shave with it will be no problem blowing right through, and god forbid i catch some shoulder blade, it should still make it in to the lungs without much difficulty.

I put in for area 7-21 and if I get drawn I will only shoot one with my bow as well. Have been putting in for years and have never been drawn. There is only one tag in this area but a buddy of mine was drawn in there a few years ago and got a good bear with his rifle. I see that the results are supposed to be posted on Feb 20.
