[quote=Ed.R.Lee;575131]I'm new here and have been trolling a little. Very informative site (great generous sharing of knowledge) and I like it. I am not Canadian but I have tried hunting trips in New Zealand & South Africa (more like a tourist thing).

    1. Some folks hunt Coyotes for the hides (and wolves as well). Does anybody even eat Coyote/Wolf meat like some other games?

Id say no to the coyote and wolf unlike your country we dont do our grocery shopping in the pet store I usually shoot them on the harrison wasteland in the big mess you quoted in another post while you were bashing loggers I usually skin them out and bleach there shulls and put them in my shop to look at I use my grandpas 303 rifle he brought back from the war it shoots better than his captured type 99

In most parts of BC coyotes are a nuisance at best and kill pets or the odd person at worst, I would pay a buck just to leave one in the bush dead but I usually field skin it and take it home (pelt) and leave the carcass in the woods they dont last long out there. I hunt the bush lots so I use the 30-30 and hunt small blocks or openings in the bush and I dont eat dogs, they are pets or something fun to shoot in the winter.

I am not quite sure how to digest that but if that's a way to issue insults then all I can say is... stop talking stupid.

Log Roller: I'd say your being a little over sensitive. The man knows little about BC's hunting or logging, but is politely asking questions to find out.
You could give him the benifit of your knowledge and maybe make some points for BC's lumber industry.

Why assume he is slamming you and your job?

    log roller:
I have made my living directly from logging for the past 29 years and plan to for the next few years.

I don't see how your links explain your need to insult, with racial slurs, someone asking about logging in BC.

Ed R Lee could be forgiven for having a sterio-type about redneck loggers after his encounter with you.

Now that our new member feels real welcome, I'm going to close this thread.
Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!
