    Crossbow specs

I bought a PSE Viper Rattler crossbow so my kids could bowhunt
with me and am happy with the purchase. But wouldn't you know it,
the string broke on my oldest son the first time out. I make my own strings, so I measured up the old one as best I could and made one
up. It works ok . Does anyone have the proper axle to axle measurement,
so I can double check my bow.
Also, I am using 20'' bolts and think that 17'' would be faster. There seems to be enough room for the broadheads at the shorter length.
(Beman Thunderbolts). What are you using.
    cheers

I'd go to the PSE website and contact them for the specs. They are great at product support.

I did a quick 'search' on the PSE site and couldn't come up with any info about a Viper Rattler. Is it an older model? If so, there may not be a legible sticker there anymore.

Unless you been talkin to the wife , she figures anyone that sits in a tree
waiting for a deer to walk by is nuts. I thought that maybe someone
would go down stairs and measure up one of thier toys and set me
    straight.

Contact PSE and they will be able to give you the exact information. Any problems with hunting equipment requires a phone call or email to the manufacturer of the product not a post on a forum.
