    My dad had a '48 Ford that I'd borrow to go into the bush with. Sorry, no pics. I used to take it up into Pleasant Valley and over towards Boomerang Lk, behind Mt. Benson. I was in my late teens/early twenties at the time.

    This is my old '63 Landrover pickup. It was a 4banger that got 8 mies to the gallon uphill, downhill, level, and parked. Took it into areas angels would fear to tread and never found anything that would stop it.
    Picture is from 1980 taken behind Amour de Cosmos just N. of Campbell River. I'm the good looking chap in the hat. (eat your hearts out ladies)
    The last I heard of it some guy in the Parksville area had it, but that was a long time ago.
    It's only when you see a mosquito land on your testicles that you realize there are other ways to deal with problems than violence.
