I took the dog out to a couple of spots yesterday afternoon to do some training in the blinds etc.. It was pouring buckets straight sideways!. Should have brought my shotgun. There were ton's of ducks everywhere!!! Got totally soaked, practiced some calling, spent time with my best friend, and had a really great time. Goes to show it's not all about the shooting.

Yeah, it looked duckier than hell out there and I wanted to go sooooo bad, but I had other commitments.

Hey JB,were you out in the n estuary? I hunted Cowichan Bay a bit this year,no mallards to speak of. are their any geese spots up there? PM me if you like. cheers.
