Do you;
A. Shoot and then hope there is a near by scat pile with bones and hair in it, meaning the cat is at least 2 years old ?
B. Shoot because there is no way it is in company of a female because if it were she'd be on your back giving you deeper scratch marks than the last east hastings hooker you had ?
C. Shoot, take it home and colour match the spots ?
D. Shoot, because all kittens are born in summer ?
E. None of the above.

All of those cats would be questionable in low light conditions to a hunter walking, seen crouched on the ground, chances are it'd be an illegal kill.
Cats are curious and arent out to "eat us" like a lot of people think (except the man killer at the bottom)
Now, I'm off to try and get a questionable ram, 5 1/2 pt hermaphrodite elk and 9 1/2 pts on top or 2 3/4 pts on the palm or 2 1/4 pts on either side, albino moose.

Well I would say none of the above since you may not hunt a cougar kitten or any in its company but dependeing how you interperte the B.C. regs they shouldnt be run either ( according to definition of hunt) so looks like someone may be doing something illegal.

How do you interperte that you can't run them? there is a persuit only season so I think that your out to lunch.
