Welcome to the sight Rudar. Some good advise here for you already. Take some time and do a little field work. Drive around and see if there are farmers that are willing to allow hunters. Rod & gun clubs are your best bet to get your feet wet.

hey rudar my secret spot is in one of the following areas. harrison, ladner, pittmeadows, mission, or chilliwack. i have shot geese in ALL of these places. i used to just drive around in the early am in my truck and scope these areas check around rivers etc. you will see them. then ask for perimission and check your special areas maps for public/crown land. there is soo many geese out there !!
as per defending my spot, i'm really more the type that if i seen you out by my blind i would invite you over for a coffee and if you wing a bird i would help you recover it with my SUPER LAB even if it takes all morning. "warning shot in the chest" was a little humor for you.

Rudar,I get out for birds every now and again,just started hunting waterfowl this year.It has been good so far with ducks and snows.If you are still interested send me a pm and we can talk about it.
