Stove = Jetboil (cannot recommend more highly...mine is 5 years old and still going strong)
Pots = Jetboil (pot is built in)
Sleeping Pad = Thermarest prolite 4
Sleeping Bag = Sierra Designs "Shackelton"
Tent = Integral Designs MKIII
Sil Tarp = SilTarp II
Pack = Mystery Ranch NICE 6500
Trekking Poles = Chinook
Footwear = Hanwag Trappers
Water Purification = Katadyn Vario (worked awesome for 3 guys - very quick)
One item I'll be bringing from now on is Backpackers Pantry "Banana Cream Pie" it was pretty damn good.
Oh and Gatehouses special armpit cream "Lavalin" was NO match for my stinky pits... Following directions with the package it lasted about 2 days until my "Bodyfit" merino wool was stinking like a *******.

Stove = MSR Pocket Rocket.
Pot = Evernew Titanium. Have had it a long time and am still lovin it.
Sleeping Pad = Exped Downmat 7. First trip with it...a little on the heavy side and bulky but totally awesome. My "luxury item".
Sleeping Bag = MEC Drake 0deg C. Had to cheap out somewhere and this was it. Worked just fine though.
Tent = Mountain Hardware Stilhetto 1. Picked it up just before the trip. It is well built, very light and worked great. You make the usual sacrifice with a 1 person (not much lounging room on rainy days), but I was very happy with it.
Sil Tarp = SilTarp II
(that's a buddies Sil-Dome beside it...they are very cool too!)
Pack = Mystery Ranch NICE 6500 with long pockets, flip top pocket and belt pockets. It was great.
Trekking Poles = Black Diamond
Footwear = Lowa Hunter GTX
Water Purification = MSR Hyper Flow (easily kept up with needs for 3 guys - its very fast and handy)

"If you want to hunt beasts you don't see every day,
You have to go places quite out-of-the-way.
You have to go places no others can get to,
You have to get cold and you have to get wet, too."
- Dr. Seuss
I have more than one type of each piece of gear depending on the hunt but for a early sheep hunt I'd probably take
Stove: Gigapower
Pots: Snowpeak pot and cup
Sleeping Pad: I'd rather take the Exped downmat7 but for sheep early season I'd have to tough it out and bring my Z-Lite
Sleeping Bag: Montbell Superstretch down hugger -1 deg
Tent: Sierra Designs Electron
Sil Tarp: Siltarp II
Pack: Eberlestock J107
Trekking Poles: Leki Makalau Titanium
Footwear: Hanwag Alaska GTX
Water Purification: Steripen
-Lightweight gunaholic
-Half of a Human Pinata
-Bear Kung-Fu Master
-Gatherer of the Elk meat
Great info everyone. Thanks, and keep it coming.
Knowledgeable shooters agree- The 375 Ruger is the NEW KING of all 375 caliber cartridges. ALL HAIL THE NEW KING!
I think SSSSter is referring to the pocketed "hip belts" which in my opinion are awesome. I kept my Camera, SPOT, Spork and other small but handy items in there. Keeps the stuff out of my pockets which limits mobility.The belt pockets you are referring to, are they the flip top boxes? Or something else? I'm looking on thier website, can't seem to find a belt pocket product??
Carl
Damn...I guess I am SOL. I may as well buy a couple more flip top boxes.

Did you want the pocketed hipbelts? They are only like $40 and easily interchangable on your MR pack.Damn...I guess I am SOL. I may as well buy a couple more flip top boxes.
