I got mine at a Sportsmans Warehouse in Idaho, but after that I did see a couple at Corlane's sporting goods right here in Dawson Creek. So, some folks in Canada do carry them.

Bring a pair of sandals-cuz when those blisters appear on your heels, you're gonna need some reprieve

Sandles are also great for creek crossings.

You need to find a hunting buddy who can pack 150 lbs, eyes like a eagle, build like Bo Derick , skin like Grizzly Adams and a bank roll like Bill Gates !!!!

One item that really stands out for this year was the NeoAir inflatable mattress from Thermarest. I slept on the same piece of ground that I've slept on for four other years and this mattress was worth every penny of the $150. And I was using a ThermaRest 1 1/4 inch self-inflator before that, which was pretty good. My only complaint with the NeoAir is that it should be 2" wider AND they should include a patch kit. But at under one pound and rolled up the size of a Nalgene bottle, it is a great piece of gear. For the best comfort , don't over inflate it. Let out small amounts of air as you are laying on it. Softer is better than too firm.

My partner used a Big Agness inflatable and he slept better than he ever has. The BA is a bit wider and $50 cheaper to.

Also , I'm still very impressed with the Icebreaker Merino wool under clothing.
