i sometimes watch the early morning hunting shows from michigan (dont ask how I get them) and they hunt whitetails from stands high in trees. I was just wondering does this work for mule deer too?

It would give you the same advantages for mulies as for white tails......

not as affective for mule deer because they arn't as habitual in their movement patterns. They are a more nomadic animal. Yes it can be done but in more specific circumstances
-Lightweight gunaholic
-Half of a Human Pinata
-Bear Kung-Fu Master
-Gatherer of the Elk meat
I use a climbing tree stand and blinds here in region 5, 3 and 7 for moose, deer, elk etc. The key is to have fresh sign in travel/feed corridors for Mulies. They seem to use many different trails so I keep moving when they do. I am hooked on this type of hunting as I see many more deer, moose etc, and have now starting seeing more large older animals than any other hunting method.
thanks for the info guys i apreciate it
