    Thanks for sharing!! My wife and I are talking about heading up the Alaska Highway next year, probably early Fall to catch the leaves turning.

    That swamp donkey cow sure has a sway back on her. Maybe she was turned loose by one of those Peace River backwoods person. Judgng by her color, she seems to be well on in age.

    great pics. I have never been up there. In your pics from last weekend, I was expecting to see a lot more snow is, that the norm up there this time of year? Some of the valleys look like they have no snow at all

    Liard River Hot Springs (wow you feel like a million $$$ after a dip in there):

    This is the outflow, downstream a bit from the pool. Small fish actually live in this water!

    The melt is on pretty good up there, but the Peace Country had a less-than-average year for snow, may have been less in the Northern Rockies too.
