Congrat's on your first centerfire rifle. It doesn't matter how much your gun cost, it's what you can do with it that matters. I know guys with used $200 savages that can get holes touching each other at 100 yards all day long. Good luck.

Actaully I found out why its so cheap. There is not one hand on the gun while it is being made, in other words; its all done by machine. And just to let you know, I paid a good sum of money for the model 710.

No I didnt pay too much for it. I bought it at H&H guns in Lake Cowichan, so I got it the same day

Sometimes you are mean!710s arent a very high quality rifle, topped with a low quality scope. The 'Bic Lighter' of the rifle world. As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Wel I am going to make a trip to the range possibly next weekend and sight this rifle in, Im going to sight it in at 25 yards then move to 100 yards.
