Lower mainland and where to go shooting?

So neither me nor my brother are members at any ranges in the lower mainland. We are looking for some place where we can go to test fire his new (to him) SKS and Browning Auto-5. I have a small truck so we can drive some distance. Any advice on where we can go to just test fire the two guns? Any ideas would be much much appreciated by both Mr. Friendly and Me.

    Thanks

    CK.

Use the search for Sylvester road, but PLEASE pack out your garbage. You'll see why in the threads you'll find. Have fun!!

You can go to Poco and Mission on a day pass.

I thought you needed to be accompanied by a current member to do so. if you can do drop-in's, that's great!

Poco is open to drop in's all the time, I believe Mission is only during the approach to fall hunting season, but I'm not 100% on that.

For 5 or 6 visit fees you could join Mission or Ridgedale and shoot all year???

I will be joining Ridgedale with a friend of mine...we just have to get our act together and head over that way. this was just for some impromptu shooting...have an SKS we're dying to try!

that makes sense. any particular roads to start up? I remember reading about one that-a-ways, but it eludes my recall.
