Not All Who Wander Are Lost
Yep I own one, used it this past fall> No long trips with it but had 75-80 pounds of boned out meat on it. Drives like a dream, I have a kuiu, tatonka, arctreyx, wilderness wanderer all put into the pack museum. This is the best fitting and most comfortable pack that I personally have used.
Kifaru Bikini Frame with the bag of your choice. Done deal.
I'm already packing and un-packing for this fall
67lb on my first sheep hunt, and was no problem.
yep that's what I said
I just picked up an icon pro 5200. It shows good promise. The 7200 would be better of extended sheep hunt. The 5200 isn't as big as my 107 dragonfly
I'm generally at 53 lbs with gun for 7 days. I'll be down to about 45 or so since I changed packs (badland ox to icon pro 5200) and some other gear out for lighter gear (sleeping pad, pack clothing). Always the heaviest is food but everyday you get lighter. Hopefully gonna change rifles soon to a kimber mountain but that'll be another year or so.
Love this thread! Doin a rookie solo hunt this year! Love to see the gear lists! Still working out my gear weight wise and whats really needed ($$) so Im hoping for 65lbs for 10 days. Keep posting guys!
"Pimpin' aint easy"
Including a litre of water and my rifle: 7 day solo is sub 40lbs, with my partner about 75lbs total.
