Water Fowl Hunting From A Boat

Does anyone know what the regulations are for hunting from a boat? I have a 14 ft. lund with an outboard on it. Am I able to hunt from it with the motor out of the water?

YES!! there has been much discussion about shooting from boats here in the past but in your case if you lift the leg your good to go.
Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!

you can use your boat as a blind but you can not have a loaded shotgun in the boat while it's under power.

I believe the motor needs to be detached. Until that is done it is still considered motorized. Just like you can't shoot from a truck that is turned off.

    That's how I understand it.
Call the local C/O office if you need official confirmation.
