    Pitt Marsh frozen over???

    anyone know how frozen the pitt marsh is?
    thinking of taking a canoe out there tomorrow (thursday) with the girlfriend.

    possible?

    I was around there last week...still frozen then.

    Widgeon Slough might be a good alternative since it was clear of ice.

    Head for the Pitt Marsh, where the Pitt River turns into the lower Pitt River that is called Grant Narrows. You can put in there and head straight across the Lake/River. There is a network of meandering sloughs there called the Widgeon Slough. There is even a campground accessible only by canoe at the end of it.
