Few miles W of Canoe Creek Village facing S towards Fraser. The year before there was a large grizzly hiding by the boulder. We initially thought it was a large bull. It ran to the tree before stopping . When it stood up one could still see its huge dagger like claws.

About a mile W of Canoe Creek- This landform always puzzles me –made by nature or“otherwise???

    Thanks for the photos!
I also was taken by that strange yet awesome country.
I think all young boys should spend a couple weeks there wandering on horseback and doing things that boys do. I think it would be most beneficial.

Love that country, just wish there wasn't so much horse shit where we went!

    Thanks for sharing pics Mpotzold!

The last pic-so my Dad always tells me when we nip over it heading for Empire Valley-is a terminal moraine! I've never been or hunted the West side of Churn Creek before; perhaps next season!
