    A fellow I used to train labs with used to hunt the creek mouth at Nanoose Bay. Don’t know if it’s still legal there or not but he did well there and it was legal back then. (1990-91?) He used to do well there on Pintails, Widgeons etc.

    Stop by the ministry of environment office on labieux rd. They had printed maps showing the shooting boundaries on a satellite photo. Copies were on a board in front of the main desk in their office. I always take a copy with me in case of disagreements with bird watchers or anyone else. There are lots of eyes out there so make sure you do things with that in mind. It`s a place that could easily be taken away from us so take care of it.
    Thats why they call it hunting and not killing.
