sum of all attachments

What action can you take when your trying to load pictures and you get a notice that you have exceeded the sum of all attachments...deleted every one of them and still get this??

I've never had a problem posting pictures in the manner described below...

How to post larger sized photos here on HBC…

Are you using IE ver. 7 or greater, with the ability to open multiple “tabs”? If so it is very easy to post large sized pics in your threads or replies – here’s how.

First, establish your own “Gallery” within the Photo Gallery here on HBC. Go to the Upload Photos on the second menu line down from where it says who you are and tells you about your Private Messages.

Click on Upload Photos. Second empty space down on the right – it will say, “Browse”. Click on Browse. From the pop up window, go to “My Pictures” – or wherever you store your pics. Choose the pic that you want to upload. Highlite it and choose “Open”. Give a title to the pic and then choose Upload. The photo will upload automatically and then you’re able to see the pic that you just uploaded. Upload as many as you want.

Now – open another “tab” and go to HBC. Go to the thread or reply that you want to include a photo into. Type your comment(s) or thought(s) and where you want to insert a pic…go back to the Photo Gallery tab in the other window. Find your photo and “right click” on it. Choose “copy” from the drop down menu. Go back to the tab window where your thread or reply is still open and right click again. Choose “paste” from the drop down menu. Viola! There’s your picture, large as life.

It’ll become second nature to after doing it just a few times – sort of like riding a bike, or swimming, or girls, or getting all that spaghetti onto your fork in a nice tidy bundle. Besides, your photos are there in your own picture gallery for all to enjoy.

I cannot copy and paste except for the 'copy shortcut' ???? as per your instructions?? When I go back and right click again the 'copy' isn't highlighted??? PLS bear with me....what you see above is the closest I can seem to get. Any ideas??

Attachments SUCK!! You need to copy your picture from your gallery and place the pasted text between these characters. [img] your paste [/img]

OK...I tried that...still not working?? I used the little insert pic box up top to get the [img] stuff...still won't let me copy/paste image...only the url?? What am I doing wrong??

I just clicked on your link and when the pic came up I 'right-clicked' on it and chose 'copy'......

Here I am and I'm gonna 'right-click' again and choose 'paste'. Let's see what happens.......

i think that it's time to just give it up. THanks for your help, but for some reason I cannot copy/paste the pictures as the paste option doesn't highlight. It might have something to do with my virus protection settings??

If the pic is not in HBC's gallery it won't copy/paste into a message/reply. Although the above pic IS in the gallery........

If you're doing all the intsructions as instructed and still you can't copy/paste then something else is going on here. I doubt that it's in your virus protection settings.
