My son and i went out for a goose/duck hunt this morning but only brought the goose decoys. It was our first day with the new goose calls, and mine sounds like a news years horn (not because it's bad, but just because i don't know how to use it!), so i just left it in my pocket all day. My son's goose call sounded pretty goosey for a first time use. He ended up calling in two flocks of geese with it. The goose decoys worked great! So we got three geese. I took a walk and with no decoys and only a call, i called in some mallards and ended up with a few. Just shows calling ducks is more important than having duck decoys. Don't have any pics, forgot camera at home (bad habit).
