The one I have works awesome, very similar to krazy's. Has a post that is driven in the ground, then another post that is attached and adjusts for height to the grill slips into the one in the ground. This allows it to be swung easily on and off the fire and can be removed from the fire. The grill is a piece of seasoned steel plate and has expanded metal on the end for steak and burgers. The whole thing is about 24" square. Can cook for quite a few people at once. Sorry no pics.
hey guys what is expanded metal?
Just keep working on some new recipes my little camp bitch!
some pretty skookum rigs there guys.
april fool in waiting
anyone improve on these ideas?
Me and a buddy just use what our other two buddies use they like the camping part of hunting . As there freezer's are empty lol .you know who you are
KEEP SHOOTING OR SHOOT A BIG GUN!!!!
IF YOU DON'T HUNT YOU AINT RIGHT IN THE HEAD!!!!!!!!!
A SCREAMING ELK THERE'S NOTHIN BETTER!!!!!!
KNOW WHEN TO KEEP THE WIFE OUT OF MY HUNTING SPOTS !!!!!!!!!!
Mine is similar to a few others on here, but its home made and works good. I have a piece of 3/4" ready rod that I pound into the ground and then a grill I had kicking around with a 3/4" nut welded to it. Thread that on the ready rod and completely adjustable up and down by spinning the grill around the ready rod
I just have a big grill off of an old BBQ and since coals are best for cooking i just have a few rocks to support the grill and a shovel to pull the coals to the side...the main fire to other side. Little easier to carry around.
If this worked, expanded metal is what my little weenie roaster is standing on
