    Anyone any good leads?
GEF on this website is a good craftsman (really an artisan), treats you fairly and likely will complete the work substantial sooner than 6 weeks.

Besides he is an all round great guy.

    Thumbs up Re: Gunsmiths...

    X 5 for GEF!
He rebuilt my 1960 German 270 Weatherby Magnum for me. Forbsey's old rifle.
    Looks Brand New!
Shoots better than most custom pieces.
And will last yet another lifetime as a consequence.

    Highly Recommended!

    Cheers,

A tip of the hat for GEF, he has done some fine work for me... and quickly too.

Another vote for Gary (GEF). He's built a couple rifles for me and nothing less of perfection. Not to mention a great guy to deal with!

Just had some reblue done on my Martini Cadet and its gorgeous. RSL Gunsmithing is about the only one I could find that does traditional blueing. A bit out of the way but worth the trip. He is quick, friendly and seems to know what he is doing. He has an impressive array of big tooling too. If the other guys are either unable or unwilling then I would take it to Mr Stahl for sure. Last time I was at Bits of Pieces his lathe was broken and had been for years. RSL is reasonable too. Check him out.
