    kitimat flats doing good

    hey guys well little late and behide on my storys but here we go opening day on the flats i got up early and heading out with sitka to see if my training would pay off get to the flats and she's all pumped to be out there so start crossed the flats hit the first slue and flushed up a mallard boom and down it goes sitka looks at me and takes off running bring back the duck i was so proud her first retrieve so now i new it was going to be a good day well at the end of the day i shot 5 birds and she brought every one back for me she still needs lots of work but for first time trianing a lab by my self not bad at all

    well a few days latter my buddy and his choc lab went out we took our g/f to show them what duck hunting is all about and it was a hoot of a day getting a few birds
    sitka and trigger with the birds

    Just curious if those ducks are fishing tasteing,I shot a few ducks off the lower skeena that were repulsive.

    well my last 4 days off i hit the flats 3 out of 4 took nichole two days and went out solo with the dog out of three days i limited out twice and shot 7 the first day and sitka brought back every bird for me so looks like i got a bird dog for sure now sorry no pics of the last three days but lots of mallards here and a few geese but not lots yet

    no i don't find them to be i cook them in a stir fry and can't tell
