    sweeeeet stove.......

    Forall you caribou chilcotin hunters DROP DOWN a level in your sleeping bags and stuff as the weather is 10 degrees colder than norm morning temps are 1 degree for past week or so..

    Even up at churn on my sleep over almost frost IN AUGUST..

    14"X14"x20"...takes a 10" dia. log. Once hot would burn all night with a 10" log



    30lb propane tank. Doesn't last as long as the above but WAY lighter.

    There is no doubt that you can make a wall tent stove that's better than the ones you can buy. The bought stoves are cursed with both small openings and small capacity. Large capacity = long burn . Large opening = big wood and longer burn. More air tight, longer the burn, cooler too, a good thing with wood stoves. Heat warpage can be a problem, you have to design for it. Gasket for the door and good air intakes.

    We made one from an old compressor tank, fill her full at night, still burning in the morning

    There's a kit online for 50 gallon drum conversion, or might work on a grease keg size barrel with minimal messing around
