    New Arrows

    G' Day All,

Well Kathy has been away all week (a whole 3 days ) I have been waiting for my new shafts to arrive so I can get them ready for a Chital Deer hunt this week end.

They turned up today so I got stuck into them.

I don't know if I like the yellow flames (un expected) but we will see how they fly tomorrow eh.

    Got them prepped and ready

    All done

For those interested the shafts are Blackhawk Vapour, Hunter Series 5000's Camo around 11gpi.

    2" Blazer Vanes

    130 grain Outback Supreme Broadheads

    Cheers Noel

    BTS,

I hope to get my bow dialled in for these before Friday so I can get the hunt in, otherwise it will have to wait for the week after.

    I will keep you posted.

Can you guys shoot coyotes and other small game all year round or no?

    Cheers Noel

I think you can whack coyotes year round, but we dont have them on the Vancouver Island so don't quote me on that...
Schedule "C" animals are fair game all year though.

Geez Noel, those arrows look and sound deadly. The poor digeree-doo's don't stand a chance do they?

    BW,

I don't get to shoot too many Diggee's now days, but a well placed, scary sharp Outback Supreme can bleed out a 600kg to 900kg Buffalo in under a minute, got to be happy with that sort of performance.

    They group well too...................................

Hey Noel, how do you find those blazer vanes compared to 4" helical fletching?

    G' Day Pupper,

They are faster, quieter down range, and I get better arrow flight and tighter groups,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I likem.

    Cheers Noel
