    jeep jimmy 4x4 with 3 ton winch towing your quad into you hunting area.

    for spring bears we usualy just take the jimmy and thenif we see a spot thats promising we mark it on the gps and come back with the quad. the winch on hte jimmy we use to get game out of gullys quite often. when faced with the choice of a steep run into the treeline or a jump of a steep but slideable gravel gully. the bears seem to favour the gully

    To me they are different machines with different uses and purposes, depends on what you want to do.

    i used to have a 91 tracker and its was great for the bush but i have also used a quad. I would say you need both to some degree. you need a truck or suv to get you there and then you need a quad or like wise to get to the hard to reach places.
