well i've been looking for a new backpacking/hunting tent for awhile now and its driving me nuts. i've narrowed it down to a couple different types, big agnes, mountain hardware. i've been doing the ebay thing but it seems like it is going to cost just as much to buy it from a store, only problem being what are good places to buy from in canada besides valhalla, i'm having a bit of a beef with them right now. any info would be great.

The best mountain store I have ever dealt with and they handle many find brands is Mountain Magic in Surrey, B.C., phone 604-535-5182. They ARE hunting-shooting friendly and the main guy there just got his P.A.L. AND they USE the gear, not just hype it as certain other stores do.
They are competitive in price, superb in service and about the friendliest, most polite folks around, they can get you the tents, etc. that you want.
