I have all browning, kicks ass and allways dry, but a little on the pricey side though.
I like drinking beer and whiskey, shooting guns, jetboating, love a nice rack and a tight line, I am simply a sophisticated redneck...

I've got some Browing but way too loud. Bad choice on my part though. Really good for cold weather. My favorite now is Cabelas...Top notch quality, huge selection and the best return policy ever seen.

I bought a pair of Sitka pants last season for backpacking and was very happy with them. Comfortable, quiet and very durable.
Mountain Hardware makes good raingear and this year I will be buying Arcteryx pants.

What Sitka pant did you buy? I was thinking about getting the 90% pant/jacket combo for rain gear. Does it pack okay?

I have three burber fleece with the wind shear jackets from cabelas. They are reasonable priced and unbielevably warm. Not water proof though. A friend has a pair of the pants and just loves them too.

I've got Rocky Waterproof Scentblocker in Advantage Timber, which I really like and some Thermal King in the same for when it gets cold. both really good IMO!

I have browning pro series gortex pants and jacket. They are loud and they don't keep you dry, they are also too dark of patern, until this year anyways. IMO they are over priced I wish I would have talked to someone who tried them out before I wasted my $$$$.
Any king of the mountian, weatherby, sitka, cascade HP2, whitewater owners out there?
Cabelas you say, what series? What the features?

It is easier to get forgivness than it is permission.

It has been pointed out to us that the proper number to consider in the event of violent aggression is "911"- if you are of the rabbit people. Others will do better to place their faith in the number "1911".
