    New Pup

I just picked up my new bird dog pup, he's a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon.

    Ask me if I'm excited!

Anyone else on this site into versatile dogs?

Hope the link with the pic comes through.

You couldn't pry him from me with a crow bar love the woods.

I paid $800 for him and had him sent from Quebec. After shipping, vet, crate, etc. he's cost me a pretty penny, but some things are worth paying extra for.

Nice looking pup. I had a dog flown in from regina although it was a bit pricey at the time it still would have been a bargin at twice the price . I am sure you feel the same way about your pup.

good luck and enjoy you pup

houndogger, I've only seen a couple on the coast and neither of them were used to hunt. They are more popular in Quebec, which is where I got this pup.

    Here's hoping he hunts!

I'll piggyback on your post, Sasq. Here's our newest addition, the 'versatile' GSP.
