Tonights supper - recipe from HBC Coobook

Thought I better post something considering I am relying on y'all to make this book such a great success for the site

    Tonights menu is

Roast White Tail Doe (harvested Sept 07)

it will be served with roasted Yukon gold potatoes and baby carrots, fennel braised in red wine, sauteed Portabello mushrooms with garlic, and herb gravy (made from the drippings of the roast

    enjoy

Hmmm, I'm an 8 hour drive from you, so if I leave now, can you keep it warm until about midnight for me?
