    New hunting partner

Here is a picture of our puppy "Beau", our 8 week old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retreiver. I think that he's going to be a good hunter since he's already caught two slugs in the yard. He likes eating, putting things in his mouth, and either carrying them around or biting them. We've picked him up last Monday and he knows his name and has been relatively good in the house, few accidents. He and Roux get along well. I'm sure you'll see more pictures of him in the future.

Here is a picture of our other toller "roux" sho is 5 years old.

    Beautiful looking Tollers you have.
The pup pic brings back fond memories of picking up ours. They look like furry sausages at that age.
Who were the breeders for yours - our 5 year old is from Tollwest.
Our girl unfortunatly is gun shy so likely will never join me on a Grouse hunt. May have to use my daughter's Chocolate Lab - typical Lab, dumb as a bag of nails but a great retriever.

Both of these Tollers are from Westerlea Kennels. Sorry to hear about your Toller's gun shyness. this can be corrected very easily I've read. There are tapes that you purchase and play during the day around the dog, and they get used to the sound.

That lab will never be as flashy in the field as a Toller.

Cute puppy for sure. Let us know how she progresses through her training.
