Season finale

We got out friday with our buddy Gianni and young Clayton. We had spotted ducks using the field south of us and we set us hoping to get birds passing by to come into our spread.
Birds flew late, lots of Widgeon! We let Clayton shoot first on most birds and he continued his good shooting, by 12:30 we had our limit of prime Widgeon and mallards. Saw some nice Pintail too, Chris was able to drop a really nice on saturday while hunting with our buddy Darren.
Didn't get out today, feeling sick. Can't remember missing a last day of the season.....

Good for you getting out there Dano, I didn't get out at the end, but a couple of times I could hear some shooting and wish I had. Nothing like late plumed out birds at the end of the season when they start to show their true colors!
