WSSBC Salute to Conservation

Wild Sheep Society of BC has moved its southern convention from Kamloops to Penticton. We have out grown the venue in Kamloops and had no choice. WSSBC does amazing things across this province for ALL UNGULATES not only sheep. We are also launching our Mountain Hunting Expo which will see vendors from all over North America attending. Our goal is to make the MHE the premier Western Canadian mountain hunting event over the next few years. We also have our Hunter University that has amazing presenters talking and discussing numerous aspects of hunting, gear, preparation, conservation and much more. We invite everyone to attend and we look forward to seeing you there! Its the do not miss event whether you are a sheep hunter or just a hunter. With 2 seperate banquets (Friday and Saturday Night), our Drinks for Dalls Whiskey and Cigar night Thursday, a competitive 10-15km ruck thursday, our fun backpack race friday night and 2 live auctions, this is an event you shouldn't miss. This years Penticton Convention BiGBoaR Raffle Rifle will be a Kimber Montana 8400 7mm PRC, with an 24 inch IBI 1-8.5 twist barrel with a side port brake.
the barrel was donated by Ravi ( Sako81 on HBC) Boyal, I can’t thank him enough for his support on this project.

We can't thank you enough! I think this reoccurring fundraising raffle in recognition of "Big Boar...aka Dave Marsh" who was a big part of this site gets lost on a lot of people out there on social media. Event is next week, there is a lot of opportunity to participate in events like the Fitness Race Thursday, Whiskey and Cigars Thursday evening, mountain hunting expo friday and saturday and banquets friday and saturday. We have about 500 people signed up for friday night and 550 saturday night. Come on and support conservation and have a great time while your at it.

Unfortunately not this year as I still in treatment for cancer (till November). But definitely 2025 as I should be healthier and will be retired by then! To all of you going, have a great time!
